 Sankara Eye Foundation, USA , a non-profit organization, was established in 1998 in San Jose, California and is run almost entirely by a group pf energetic Volunteers to support charity eye care at sankara Eye Hospitals in India.
What started as a grassroots community in the Bay Area a few years ago is now spreading across the USA, as more volunteers join Team SEF.
SEF collects funds for ongoing programs and construction of hospitals. it provides extensive feedback to the donors as to how their money is utilized. SEF has more than doubled the funds it raises every year for this cause.

Sankara Eye Foundation (SEF) is a non-profit organization based in London. SEF is dedicated to provide free community eye care through its affiliate, Sankara Eye Care Institutions in India.
SEF's mission is to achieve 20/20 for all by 2020. Launched in the year 2004.SEF, is run entirely by a group of committed volunteers.
SEF aims to actively support the free eye surgeries at Sankara Eye Centre in India, by raising funds through events, booths and through individual donors. Also, donors can sponsor specific programs such as open eye a month. |
