Educating a new generation of eye care missionaries

Sankara Tulsi national institute of community ophthalmology was launched in the year 1998,with the objective of training the human resource in community eye care for the benefit of other regions in India and other developing countries.

Training the entire gamut of human resource from an eye surgeon to the field worker is the goal of institute.
